Shipping Update!

This is what Kickstarter fulfillment in a 1-bedroom apartment looks like...
This is what Kickstarter fulfillment in a 1-bedroom apartment looks like...

Just a quick note on order fulfillment, since I've received a lot of individual messages inquiring about order statuses.

As of today, about half of the shipments (over 4500 total, lovingly hand-packed in our itty bitty apartment) have been sent out; the remaining orders are still on schedule to ship this month, so keep an eye out! Thanks for your patience everyone - fulfilling this Kickstarter has been a massive undertaking but I'm thrilled to be hitting the shipping target nonetheless!

You should be receiving an email with tracking info when your order ships... it seems that some people haven't received this email, though - if you'd like to check the status of your order, you can do so by logging in to your Backerkit account at https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com.

Please note that international packages can take anywhere from 7-21 days to arrive after they leave Seattle; once a shipment leaves my hands I don't have any information on its location beyond the USPS tracking info, so if you have specific questions about your package's whereabouts, your local post office is a good place to start.

I'm still waiting on survey responses from about 100 backers, and updated credit card info for 15 declined cards - without your survey response & working credit card info, I can't ship your order! You can find your survey at https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com. If you have any questions on how to submit your information or need to make alternate payment arrangements, please contact me.

DECKS ARE IN! Last chance to update your shipping address...
about 8 years ago – Tue, Oct 18, 2016 at 10:51:59 PM

They're here!! An almost-literal ton of Wicked Kingdom playing cards showed up on my doorstep this weekend. At just over 7500 decks, this was the largest print order (heck, the largest purchase of any kind) that I've ever made, so I was insanely nervous about what I might find when I opened the first box.

Luckily, I couldn't be happier with how the cards turned out! As most of you already know, this deck has been almost two years in the making - it's surreal to finally be holding it in my hands.

I'll be mailing out the first round of orders as soon as shipping supplies arrive. Which means...

LAST CHANCE TO UPDATE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS!

I'll be locking down shipping addresses in 48 hours; this means you have two days to update your shipping address in your BackerKit survey. If you need to recover your survey, go to wickedkingdom.backerkit.com and enter your email address to have your survey sent to you again.

For backers that haven't answered their surveys yet: you'll still be able to get your rewards, but they may ship out later than the backers that have responded on time. The sooner you answer your survey, the sooner I'll be able to ship your rewards!

I've also received an advance copy of the art book which, defying all the laws of chance, ALSO turned out awesome! Now I'm just waiting for the entire shipment of books to reach me, hopefully the first week of November

Books will be shipping separately, so please don't panic if you receive your cards but not your books!

Depending on your location and the combination of rewards you've selected, your order may arrive in two separate shipments. Thanks for your patience!

Missing surveys re-sent (and 10% off Wicked Kingdom prints)
over 8 years ago – Fri, Aug 19, 2016 at 11:05:02 PM

Just a quick update to those of you who contacted me to say you haven't received your survey yet: the issue seems to have been resolved! Everyone should have received their survey email now; if you can't find it, please check your spam folder (and note that your survey will have been sent to the email address you use for your Kickstarter account.)

There are a few backers whose cards were declined through Kickstarter and whose orders are still awaiting payment; if you're one of them, you can use the Backerkit survey link to add/update your payment information and make sure that you receive your order along with everyone else.

I got a lot of messages during the Kickstarter about purchasing individual prints (especially for the previously-unavailable Aces and Jokers). All the cards from the deck (including aces and jokers) are now available in my shop at http://www.wickedkingdomdeck.com/wkshop. If you'd like to order a print (or two!), you can use the discount code KSPRINTS at checkout for 10% off your print order between now and August 23rd (this coming Tuesday).

Last call for order updates (and first look at the proof sheet!)
over 8 years ago – Fri, Aug 19, 2016 at 12:22:32 AM

By now, you all should have received your Backerkit surveys. If you didn't receive a survey, please request one at https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com.

-

The last day to make changes to your pledge through Backerkit is August 23rd (this coming Tuesday). After this date, I'll be locking your reward selections and charging cards for add-on purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders. You'll still be able to update your shipping address up until the decks are ready to ship in October/November.

-

For backers who have not answered their surveys yet:

If you fill out your survey after August 23rd, I'll still receive your order, but there's a chance your shipment may be delayed. Please help me get your order to you in a timely manner by filling out your survey as soon as possible!

If you can't find your survey invitation email, or need to review your information or pledge status, visit https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com.

-

As soon as I have your final order counts in hand, the deck will be going to print! I just received the proofs from USPCC, and they look awesome (much more awesome than my dark blurry camera phone lets on).

Once again, I can't thank you guys enough for helping to make this project a reality! I'll keep you posted as things progress...

BackerKit surveys are coming (and the ad card reveal!)
over 8 years ago – Tue, Aug 09, 2016 at 11:02:13 PM

Just a quick note to say that I'll be sending you all an email with a link to your BackerKit survey within the next few days - this will be my only means of collecting your shipping address and add-on preferences, so please keep an eye out for it! The sooner I get your responses, the sooner I can get your decks printed.

Some details on the surveys:

• You don't need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link in the email, fill it out, and you’re good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your rewards preferences, provide shipping information, and pledge for more add-ons if you'd like.

• If you decide later that you want to edit your survey response, you can go back to your survey and change it any time before I lock down the surveys for processing.

• If you need to review your information or pledge status, you will be able to recover your survey here: https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com/

• If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you would prefer to use, please contact support at https://wickedkingdom.backerkit.com/faq and we'll get you sorted out!

I also wanted to reveal my design for the ad cards - one last little bit of artwork that will be finding its way into the deck! For owners of the deck, the image will be included as two extra cards alongside the standard 54; for those of you who've purchased the uncut sheet (you'll have a chance to add one to your order in the BackerKit survey), you'll get to see the assembled panorama in its full glory.

Thanks again for backing the project, everyone - and watch for those surveys in your inboxes!
